I've never found the fans of any band to be a problem. I can talk to people at concerts who wear Slipknot shirts and be fine with it. But ask me an opinion on the band and I'm sure to start ranting.

I'm talking about general situations and whatnot. I already had my CoF rant for this thread.

I mean that when I start talking to someone with a Slipknot shirt, I don't just come out and say, "Uh, yeah, Slipknot is shit and you aren't a True metalhead if you like them." I'll say something to that effect if they actually ask me what I think of the band, though.

I remember at the concert of Watain 2 years ago, the guy with the COD T-Shirt was the drunk guy fucking with everyone.

Slipknot and his fans sucks too. A lot more than COD ones.

I usually don't usually find that any particular fans suck more than others, with few exceptions. Twilight fans and Bieber fans and the like are nuts.

As are fans of the Bible ;)

No, I think they are. The Slipknot vocalist does have range, even if every mode and pitch of his is lame. Dani Filth can NOT sing/vocalize. At all. I'd much rather listen to singing in a Slipknot track than that of a CoF song.
